Marc Janssen from 15West finds the matching perfume for their visitors based on his extensive knowledge, high-end service, and „old-fashioned“ approach to finding a perfect, match.

For the high-end boutique perfumery 15West, bfs design flachsbarth schultz worked closely with the owners to develop a design that allows the fragrances to take centre stage. In order to achieve this, they softened the existing interior structure, adding deep-cove cornices to the ceiling and colouring all of the surfaces in an earthy, neutral tone. Continuing this theme, a gently-curved service counter sits at the back of the store, clad in a chocolate brown Corian. 

Within this shell, a combination of mirrored alcoves, and three large, tiled, cubes (made from custom Sebastian Herkner ceramics) present the perfumes as the focal point within the store.

The overall effect of these gestures is a warmer, darker space that invites clients to explore each unique fragrance against a visually neutral backdrop – creating a luxury retail experience that is both calm and sensually stimulating.
